Managing Browser Generated Data

Within WebData Control, the WebData Management feature allows administrators to take control of the growing problem of browser generated data including: cookies, history, DOM data, temporary internet files and Chromium extension data.

Cookie Management

WebData Management is the only solution available today that provides complete administrative control over internet cookies.

Administrators can granularly define which cookies should be retained and which should be removed, including the removal of tracking and advertising cookies, which are specifically designed with the intention of collating data from your users for the benefit of a third party.

History Retention

Manage browsing history across all web browsers with options to remove all history or just browsing history which is older than a specified number of calendar or browsing days.

Temporary Internet Data

Every web page that a user visits fills the temporary internet data cache with content that is often never used again. WebData Management automatically removes these temporary stores that bloat the user profile and consume datacentre storage.

DOM Data Removal

In addition to cookies, websites download larges files to the local DOM store. WebData Management will delete this data which is not required at the end of the session.

Chromium Extensions

Manage your Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge extensions and their locale files by whitelisting business critical extensions or blacklisting specific extensions that you do not want your users to install.

By default each extension will install a locale file for each language it supports taking up considerable space within every user's profile.
