Browser Redirector

Dynamically use the correct browser for different web resources

The Browser Redirector feature within WebData Control allows administrators to define rules to govern which browser is used to access web resources based on a URL and to customize browser usage and selection.

Features:

URL Redirection

Ensure that selected URLs are always redirected to the correct browser whether the URL is entered directly into the browser address bar or clicked externally using a hyperlink.

Default Favorites Open Selected Browser

Ensure that any default favorites created within Favorites Synchronization are maintained and redirected to the correct browser.

Administrator Defined Default Browser

The administrator can centrally define which browser should be the default within their environment.

User Defined Default Browser

Within a session, users have the ability to select their own default browser to accommodate their personal preferences.

Browser Parameters

The administrator can centrally configure other parameters to control browser behaviour and optimize it for the user and their work environment.
